Swampy Outfitters, named for Quebec's famous Swampy River, is your destination for trophy caribou hunting. We have been in business since 1988 providing exceptional hunting and fishing for our clients. Our professional and experienced staff will insure that you have a memorable stay with us. Our camps are situated 95 miles north west of Schefferville in the Caniapiscau River region of Quebec. We have a permanent base camp and mobile tent camps to insure contact with the huge herds of caribou which migrate through the area. Our success rate has been 100% for the last several years for two caribou. Fishing, bear hunting and bird hunting are also available. Our trips originate in Montreal, with a change in Schefferville. The season runs from mid- August to the end of September.
